Ansmann ALCT 6-24/10 IU characteristic charger for lead-acid battery 6 - 24V
The fully automatic charger is suitable for maintenance-free lead batteries (lead-gel, lead-acid, lead-fleece) with 6, 12 or 24 volts. After connecting the pole terminals, the device automatically recognises the output voltage of the lead-acid battery and indicates this with the corresponding LED. If the battery is deeply discharged, the automatic refresh mode restores the basic voltage by means of pulsating charging currents so that the normal charging process can be started. Depending on the voltage, a charging current of 1, 5 or 10 amps can be selected. If no setting is made, charging takes place with the preset charging current of 1 ampere. Thanks to a special charging process, the system automatically switches to trickle charging once the battery is fully charged. This means that the battery is not overcharged and can remain connected to the charger for a longer period of time. Batteries for motorbikes, motorboats, lawnmowers, etc. can therefore survive the winter and are ready for use at any time.
Designed for standby parallel operation, the ALCT 6-24/10 can remain connected to the battery without interruption and always keeps it fully charged, even if the battery is loaded/discharged at the same time. This means that the battery is always available at full capacity. And if it does go flat, the ALCT 6-24/10 can even provide a jump start.
